How Dairy Farm Road got its Name ?
The Dairy Farm Estate was once a thriving dairy farm. The farm was established on a 60-acre (24-ha) patch of thick secondary jungle which Fred Heron, then Managing Director of Cold Storage, had purchased and cleared in 1929 to rear pigs. An epidemic of swine fever broke out and killed most of the pigs and Heron turned his attention to milk production around 1930.
