Old Scrapefoot and The Three Little Bear
By Swell Christina
This is a very interesting storybook I borrowed from the library and wanna share…
Old Scrapefoot & the Three Litter Bear is an early written version of the folk tale that becomes Goldilocks. It was written by the poet Robert Southey. But his story is based on a much earlier one written by a Frenchman, it wasn’t Goldilocks who ate up the Little Bear’s porridge, it was the bad old fox Scrapefoot.
