Macaques(Long-Tailed Monkey) usually can be spotted at reservoirs and park. I’ve seen them at Upper & Lower Peirce Reservoir, Bt Timah Hill, Admiralty Park, Sentosa & Zoo.
Drove by Admiralty Road West while we were on our way to Ah Ma’s house for dinner, spotted 2 macaques along the roadside. We stopped by to take a closer look and there were more in the woods. Saw people feeding them peanuts despite there is a ‘No Feeding’ sign.
Do not feed the monkeys, if we keep feeding them, they will stop looking for food eventually. When there is no food, they will run to our hosue to create nuisance! Leave them alone, there are plenty of natural fruits in the wild.
